This is a Tomix completed N gauge train, a special edition JR 287 series limited express train (second edition of the Kuroshio Limited Express 60th Anniversary Commemorative Wrapping) set. Tomix 979812February 2026 - March 2026 [Product introduction] This is a Tomix completed N gauge train, a special edition JR 287 series limited express train (second edition of the Kuroshio Limited Express 60th Anniversary Commemorative Wrapping) set. This is a redesigned version of JR West's 287 series "Kuroshio" limited express train. This special edition will feature the second 60th anniversary wrap train, which began operating in August 2025. Features include the JR mark and Green Car mark, a yellow stripe printed on the doorstep, and a printed car number. A newly manufactured TN coupler (SP) is mounted on the driver's side of the lead car. The head and taillights feature a constant-on LED board with an ON/OFF switch. The headlights under the driver's cab use white and red LED boards. The headlights under the cab use a color prism to reproduce yellow and white illumination. Features a flywheel-equipped power unit, a new current collection system, and silver wheels. Features an M-13 motor. [Set Contents/Example Formation] Limited Express "Kuroshio" to Shingu: [Kumoha 286-10] + [Moha 286-13 (M)] + [Moha 287-203] + [Moha 286-203] + [Moha 286-12] + [Kumoha 287-16] [Introduction to the actual train] The 287 series "Kuroshio" was introduced to replace the 381 series operated in the Nanki area, and began commercial operation in March 2012. The "Kuroshio" mainly operates between Shirahama/Shingu and Shin-Osaka/Kyoto in 6- or 9-car formations. The second wrapping train to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Kuroshio Express features an ocean green wave design on both front cars, based on the illustration of the headmark of the "Kuroshio" train that was in operation until 2015. The line is being livened up with the 60th anniversary wrapping train, which is based on the 381 series "Super Kuroshio" that debuted in July 2013.
