This is the R12 formation belonging to the Kanazawa Depot. It reproduces the black stripes around the windows, the blue stripes on the front and sides, and the symbolic markings across the coupling surfaces. It also reproduces the distinctive features of a 3-car surge train with doors aligned toward Kanazawa. The lightning arrester reproduces the new type seen on JR West vehicles in recent years. Includes front through-door parts for open doors. The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running. To recreate the spacious underfloor appearance, a single-bogie drive power unit is used. Headlights and taillights are lit. A light-off switch is included. The leading car coupling uses a KATO close-coupled coupler (without hooks). A two-stage electric coupler is included.
