It is reproduced as seen in the 1970s. It is commercialized with the white identification markings indicating that it is equipped with a kerosene heater. It accurately reproduces its small and light appearance, with a shorter wheelbase, body length, and overall height than the Yo-5000. Taillights on both sides light up. Separately sold interior lights can be installed. An interior light diffuser is included to recreate the appearance of the interior being evenly illuminated with the soft light of incandescent bulbs. A replacement dummy coupler is included to tighten the end of the train. The car number is "Yo-6522." The train name is "Minami-Tso (Shin-Tsurumi)." [Actual vehicle introduction] The Yo-6000 was introduced as the successor to the Yo-5000, and was used in a variety of situations, from dedicated freight on main lines to small freight on local lines. Its three side windows and shallowly curved roof give it a lighter impression than existing cabooses. A total of 905 cars were manufactured by 1969, and they were seen all over the country until 1986, when conductors on freight trains were abolished.
