Plastic models.
[Scale] 1/200.
This 1/200 scale set of the Yamato battleship's superstructure comes in an inner print box!
The Yamato-class battleships, which possessed the world's largest naval guns, were completed in 1941 and 1942, respectively.
It was created as a culmination of the construction technology available up to that point.
The exterior of the bridge, which distinguished it from previous Japanese battleships, was an extension of the battleship Hiei, which had been remodeled before the ship was built, and was compact in size relative to its displacement.
The command center is surrounded by strong armor, and there is an elevator inside.
It is equipped with a 15-meter rangefinder on top, giving it a well-balanced appearance.
Behind the bridge is a chimney that exhausts from 12 boilers, and on both sides are 12.7 cm twin anti-aircraft guns, which are the main anti-aircraft armament.
The mast and rear bridge were located at the rear of the central structure, giving the ship the complete, orderly form of a Japanese battleship.
After that, based on the lessons learned from the war, two secondary guns were removed and anti-aircraft guns were added to deal with air attacks.
This is a large scale kit featuring the main parts of a warship, and is part of a collectible equipment series.
* Most parts require painting and gluing during assembly.
Only the bridge section is pre-painted, so you can create a realistic look without painting.
This product is a 1/200 scale model that includes the superstructure of the battleship Yamato (bridge, funnel, aft bridge, secondary guns, and additional anti-aircraft guns).
?The product shape is based on the final version from 1945.
The molding color is a gray that mimics the popular "Kure Naval Arsenal color" of the Kan NEXT series.
? Newly drawn illustration inner print box (single-sided full color).
The completed superstructure can be placed and displayed.
?The illustration depicts the sea surface and wooden deck during sailing.
The wooden deck reproduces the first to fourth secondary guns, and the width extends to the sides.
?Background paper size is approximately aaa x aa mm.
Bridge ? The upper part of the bridge is equipped with No. 21 radar and No. 22 radar.
? The message post, the shape of which was revealed during the Musashi undersea exploration, was installed as it is believed that the Yamato at that time was also equipped with a similar post.
? The upper lookout post has been enlarged, and a waiting area for soldiers has been installed at the rear.
Central structure ? Two No. 13 radars are installed on the mast.
Delicate design with two-piece structure.
