The 5174 formation belonging to the Motosumiyoshi Depot is reproduced. The form of the leading cars (5174 and 5874) with added digital radio antennas and the intermediate car (5474) with the IR antenna removed is reproduced. The thick red stripe on the side lower panel and the yellow warning stripe placed at the end of the car are reproduced. The "8cars" display on the front window is printed. The identification stripe next to the crew door is reproduced in red. Each car has a roof that reproduces the Mitsubishi air conditioning unit (CU708 type cooler). The intermediate cars of the train are equipped with KATO close-coupling couplers (with hooks) as standard. The front cars are equipped with dummy couplers. Headlights/taillights and front destination display light up (white LEDs used). Slotless motor is used for smooth and quiet running.
