Tomix 97237 Scheduled for release around April-May 2026. [Product Introduction] This is a Tomix ready-to-run N gauge model train set of the JR 211 3000 series commuter train (Ryomo Line, Yagasuri color). [Vehicle Guide] The 211-3000 series is a commuter train with cold-weather and snow-resistant specifications and long seats, which began operation in 1986 with the purpose of replacing the early model non-air-conditioned 115 series. This train mainly operated on the Takasaki Line and other major lines such as the Utsunomiya Line, but with the introduction of the successor E233-3000 series, it was withdrawn from the Takasaki Line in 2014. From 2016, it was repurposed for local transport around the Takasaki area, replacing older trains such as the 107 series and 115 series, and the 211-3000 series was shortened to 4-car or 3-car formations. In 2021, one 4-car formation (A28 formation) was repainted as part of a project to revitalize the Ryomo Line area, using the Ryomo Line's line color, yellow, and the mountains along the line as motifs, based on the textiles (Yagasuri) along the line. The train's livery has been changed to a combination of green and other colors. This train is active mainly on the Ryomo Line, as well as on various lines in the Takasaki area, the Shin'etsu Main Line, the Joetsu Line, and the Agatsuma Line. [Product Features] Reproduces the four-car A28 formation in the Yagasuri color scheme belonging to the Takasaki Vehicle Center. Reproduces the unupdated car with ventilators. The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included. The front destination display is a sticker. The JR mark and semi-automatic buttons are printed. The driver's cab side of the leading car is equipped with a TN coupler. The headlights, taillights, and front display are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board and an ON-OFF switch. The headlights, taillights, and front display are lit with warm white LEDs. Features a flywheel motor, a new current collection system, and black wheels. Uses an M-13 motor. Due to the mold, some parts differ from the actual train. Stored in a book case.
