The 10th ship of the Akizuki-class destroyer, "Yoizuki", is now available as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit.
Completed in January 1945, "Yoizuki" is also known as the "Fuyutsuki-class", as its construction was simplified by modifying the air intakes around the funnel and the shape of the area below the waterline at the bow.
After the war, it served as a repatriation ship and was handed over to the Republic of China Navy as a war reparation ship.
The WL "Yoizuki" has a parts configuration that focuses on the essentials, making it simple, easy to assemble, and accurately reproduced.
Various rigging features, such as the "10cm high-angle guns" and enhanced anti-aircraft machine guns, which are characteristic of the Akizuki-class destroyers, have been newly designed and added.
