Etching parts for the Chibimaru Military Series Type 10 Tank are back!
The Type 10 Tank, the fourth generation of domestically produced tanks in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, is equipped with a C4I system.
While lighter and smaller than its predecessor, the Type 90 Tank, it is equipped with a domestically produced 120mm smoothbore gun.
Since procurement began in 2010, more than 100 tanks have been deployed to armored units, with some companies of the 2nd and 71st Tank Regiments in the north, the 1st Tank Battalion, the Ordnance School, and the Armored Training Regiment in Honshu, and the Western Army Tank Unit in Kyushu being equipped with them.
These etching parts can express even the smallest details that are difficult to reproduce with injection molded parts.
While being genuine etching parts that do not detract from the image of the deformed base kit, they include the delicate expression on par with general military models.
This product is an etching parts set (for one tank) for the Chibimaru Military Series No. 1 Chibimaru Type 10 Tank.
The photo-etched parts are made of brass and measure approximately 7.7 x 8.7 mm, with a thickness of approximately 0.1 mm.
The photo-etched parts include front and rear mudguards, rubber side skirts, radiator grille, radiator louvers, engine exhaust port, anti-aircraft sight, hooks for attaching the Barracuda (camouflage net), laser detection device, turn signal guards, and commander's sight.
