FUJIMI 1/350 Ship Series No.13 Japanese Navy Battleship Haruna 1945/Operation Shoichi-go. Following the previously released 1/350 Haruna during the Battle of the Mariana Coast, this is a reproduction of the last battle of the Pacific Ocean, the Battle of the Philippines! Battleship Haruna is the third ship of the Kongo-class battleships and is the first civilian ship to be built at the Kobe-Kawasaki Shipyard. Built and completed in 1919. By the time of the Pacific War, she had been renovated twice to expand her war preparations. Among the battleships, the agile Haruna was active in all directions, including escorting task forces and firing naval gunfire at enemy airfields, and in the Battle of Leyte Gulf, the last decisive battle for the Japanese Navy, she displayed a brave figure equipped with numerous anti-aircraft machine guns.
