Destroyer Shimakaze is the fastest destroyer in the Imperial Japanese Navy and the only ship without its type.

A large destroyer with a total length of over 120 meters and a displacement of 2,500 tons.
Equipped with three 12.7 cm twin guns and three 61 cm five twin torpedo launchers, it was equipped with excellent running attacks.
Beginning with the operation to withdraw Kisuka Island in July 1943, she was active mainly in the central Pacific Ocean, participated in the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944, and was killed in the Ormoc transportation operation in the following month after being attacked by US aircraft.

-The bridge is an integrally molded part, even though the entire side wall is shaped and sculpted using a slide mold.
・The Type 94 compass at the top of the bridge can be rotated even after assembly, allowing the orientation direction of the main gun to be aligned.
・Special clear molded parts are available for the bridge window.
・Similar to the bridge, the shelter part at the base of the mast is also integrally molded with a slide mold.
-The mast has a two-piece structure with front legs and two rear legs, and the watchtower and No. 22 electric probe are also precisely reproduced.
-The chimney is attached to the left and right, and the funnel cap is left open to create a realistic model.
-The funnel cap and the black paint on the top of the chimney are reproduced by coloring the parts in advance.
・The steam disposal pipe and the chimney for cooking are made into separate parts from the engine chimney, making it a three-dimensional model.
-Linoleum parts of the front and rear upper decks are prepared with brown molded colored parts.
・The linoleum holder is expressed with delicate engravings.
-The steel deck in the center of the upper deck reproduces the anti-slip (strip) pattern with fine convex carvings.
・ The base of the 2nd turret is made into an integrated part by a slide mold, and both the side and the top are engraved.
・For the stern, prepare parts dedicated to the specification at the time of completion, which was equipped only with the depth charge projector.
・A pre-cut sticker that expresses the coloring of the warship flag and the inner surface of the cutter is included.
