The 211 series 5000 and 5600 series trains support commuter and suburban transport on the Tokaido Main Line.
The 5000 and 5600 series are vehicles that improve on the customer service facilities of the conventional 211 series and reduce costs, and toilet facilities were initially omitted as they were operated on frequent service sections.
Not only can they be operated alone or coupled with other 211 series trains, but they are also frequently coupled with the 313 series, making them very flexible in their use.
The 313-2600 series is a group of three-car long-seat trains equipped with dynamic braking for operation on local lines. They are mainly used on the Tokaido Main Line in the Shizuoka area, and are also coupled with the 211 series and other 313 series.
