This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Japanese Navy battleship Yamato, which was completed in December 1949. Based on the latest materials, the final figure headed for Okinawa is modeled. The massive hull has realistically reproduced the flare on the bow and the armored belt on the side. The main turret is set as a separate part for each gun barrel.
