Product introduction A new mold bottom part has been added to the "Unryu-class 3rd ship Katsuragi", and it is now available as a full hull model! Katsuragi was completed in October 1945 at the Kure Naval Arsenal as the third Unryu-class ship.
Masterplan No. G16, (rapid) plan to start Unryu, and 15 ships including this ship were planned to make up for the loss of aircraft carriers after the Battle of Midway.
In order to shorten the construction period, the aircraft carrier Hiryu has been redesigned, and the shape has been simplified as it becomes Amagi, Katsuragi and later ships.
At the time of completion of Katsuragi, the carrier-based aircraft were not satisfied and the waiting in the inland sea continued, and the camouflaged mooring with the same type ship Amagi was on Mitsuko Island on the south side of the Kure military port.
Although he was hit by the Kure air raid, he survived until the end of the war, was active in postwar repatriation transportation, was dismantled in 1947, and ended with a strange ship history.

The molded parts of the hull part are light green in consideration of the paint color of the outer side No. 22 color.
Among the Unryu type, the parts that are characteristic of each ship are reproduced as separate parts.

(Differences from Unryu and Amagi)

-The machine gun seat has a square shape due to simple construction, and reproduces the appearance that the 25 mm machine gun with a shield behind the chimney has been reduced.
・ Triangular prism-shaped machine gun composed of planes
・ High-angle gun sponson props are expressed with special parts
・ The 25mm triple machine gun seat installed on the lead and stern uses special square parts.
The flight deck is coated with latex, which tends to be monotonous, while the sculptural expressions such as the eye ring for locking the airplane, the landing braking cable, and the expansion joint are variously designed with abundant information.
The hidden searchlight and the two hidden searchlights on the flight deck can be selected from the retracted state and the deployed state.
Comes with camouflage decals so that you can easily reproduce the appearance of the flight deck painted with camouflage.
The carrier-based aircraft comes with the "Gekifu,"
"Meteor,"
and "Ayakumo,"
which were planned to be installed.
The 25mm twin machine gun contains both conventional one-piece structural parts and more precise two-piece parts.
